RootedWork.com was born out of a simple desire to lend a hand.
It all started when my wife wanted to help out on a local farm. We looked for ways to get involved with nonprofit farms and agricultural projects, only to realize that many of these farms were struggling to find the workers and volunteers they desperately needed.
Farming is tough work—tending flocks, managing herds, caring for barns, and keeping gardens thriving all require dedication, skill, and manpower.
Yet, many agricultural employers and nonprofits face challenges in connecting with the right people to get the job done.
That’s where RootedWork.com comes in. We created this platform to be the bridge between urban laborers, skilled workers, nonprofit volunteers, and agricultural employers.
Whether it’s a ranch needing extra hands, a farm looking for seasonal help, or a nonprofit searching for volunteers, we’re here to make those connections easier, faster, and more effective.
Starting in San Antonio, Texas (Bexar County), we are committed to growing this network nationwide.
Our goal is to ensure that agricultural employers never struggle to find workers, and that those seeking meaningful, hands-on work can easily find opportunities in this essential industry.
At RootedWork.com, we believe that by strengthening the connection between laborers and the land, we’re not just helping farms—we’re helping communities grow.
